Don’t be fooled by cheap alternatives, fabric is very important. The mesh needs to be tightly woven to make a good blind, cheaper fabrics with a loose or wide mesh will always create problems due to cheap production and movement between panels. Day and Night blinds look very like Roller blinds, however they differ in that they’re made up of two layers of fabric. They contain a roller at the top of the blind fitting that can be operated either with a chain or a remote control. Each layer contains horizontal panels of translucent and opaque fabric that slide together at the pull of a cord, and can be easily opened or closed to let light in or block it out.
The transparent layer is regarded as the ‘day blind’ and the block colour the ‘night blind’. However these can be altered to accomplish a range of lighting solutions. Whatever your needs are you can adjust the blinds for either complete, none, or partial transparency.
